Baker Boyer Promotes Jonathan Stiffler to Chief Information Security Officer

Walla Walla, WA - Baker Boyer is pleased to announce the promotion of Jonathan Stiffler to Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer.

Jonathan Stiffler

Stiffler joined Baker Boyer in August 2024, bringing with him a distinguished background in cybersecurity through his service in the United States Army and later as a government contractor supporting computer simulation networks. His most recent position prior to joining Baker Boyer was in Grafenwoehr, Germany, where he specialized in safeguarding systems against evolving cyber threats. Desiring to be closer to family in Eastern Washington, Stiffler returned to the region and quickly became an integral part of the Baker Boyer team.

As the Bank’s Information Security Officer, Stiffler has been instrumental in protecting Baker Boyer’s systems from infiltration and cybercriminal activity. His leadership has strengthened the Bank’s ability to safeguard sensitive information and maintain the trust of clients and the community.

“Jonathan’s expertise and dedication have already elevated our cybersecurity program to new levels,” said Mark Kajita, President and CEO of Baker Boyer. “His promotion reflects both the importance of information security in today’s world and the tremendous value he brings to our leadership team.”

Stiffler will continue to lead Baker Boyer’s cybersecurity strategy, overseeing the protection of client and institutional data while guiding the Bank’s long-term security posture.
