Your security is our top priority. Our online and mobile banking platforms are equipped with a range of powerful tools designed to help you safeguard your accounts, monitor activity, and take control of your financial safety anytime, anywhere.

Setting up Account Alerts will ensure you receive a notification for a large dollar transaction, low balance, or other important activity. You can also set alerts for withdrawals, balances, when deposits arrive or when specific check numbers are receeived. Alerts are set per account. Additional alerts for bills can be managed withing Payments by clicking Bill Pay. 

Within account alerts you also have the option to block all transactions or receieve notifications when these types of transactions are attempted:

  • ATM: Bank ATMs, vendor ATMs, cash advances, etc.
  • eCommerce: Online bill payment, online shopping, etc.
  • In Store: Department stores, pharmacies, other reatil stores, etc.
  • Mail/Phone Order: Catalog shopping, travle agent payments, etc.
  • Recurring: Automated bill pay, monthly expense payments, etc.
  • Other: Other cases outside of standard types.

Bill Pay makes it easy to pay your bills to a business or even send money to another person from anywhere, on any device, anytime you like. To get started, just choose a person or business for payment, enter your information, and decide how much to send and when to send it. Make one-time payments in a few minutes or schedule recurring payments months in advance. You can pay nearly any company or person from your computer or mobile device.

By eliminating the need for paper checks, Bill Pay significantly reduces the risk of mail theft, check fraud, and misplaced payments. To give you even more peace of mind, Bill Pay includes features like payment alerts and easy access to your payment history — keeping you informed and protected with every transaction. Whether you're paying a utility company, subscription service, or anything in between, our Bill Pay service is a secure, smart way to handle your everyday finances.

Set up Bill Pay

Now you can get support from Baker Boyer no matter where you are — thanks to Conversations, a secure messaging feature built right into your online and mobile banking. Whether you're reviewing transactions, uploading documents, or just have a quick question, Conversations connects you directly with our Online Support Representatives — safely and conveniently.

If something on your account doesn’t look quite right, simply click the “Ask Us About This Transaction” button. You can type your question, and our support team will immediately know which transaction you’re referring to. This allows us to respond faster and more accurately — without you needing to make a phone call or visit a branch.

Managing your finances digitally doesn’t just save paper — it significantly enhances your account security. With eStatements through Baker Boyer Online Banking, you can access, view, and store your statements quickly and safely from any device. Whether you're at home or on the go, your financial information stays protected.

Paper statements can easily be lost, stolen, or intercepted through the mail. eStatements, on the other hand, are:

  • Delivered Directly to Your Secure Online Banking: No physical mail means your statements can’t be stolen from a mailbox or lost in transit.
  • Stored Securely in Your Account: Your eStatements are archived digitally for up to five years, so you can safely retrieve past records without filing cabinets or shredders.
  • Access Controlled by You: Only you can access your eStatements with your unique login credentials — unlike printed documents, which anyone can read once they’re in hand.
  • PDF Format with Built-in Safeguards: Statements are available as view-only PDF documents, compatible with most browsers and supported by Adobe Reader for added document protection.

At Baker Boyer, protecting your personal and financial information is a top priority. That’s why we offer Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — an advanced and highly secure way to confirm your identity when accessing Online Banking.

Instead of relying on just a User ID and password, 2FA uses an added layer of security. It combines something you know (like your login credentials) with something you have (like a verification code or physical device). This dual-step method has become the gold standard for trusted organizations across banking, email, and other online services.

There are several authetication methods available:

  • A SMS text or phone call to a trusted device
  • Authetication App
  • FIDO Token

Your authentication codes are a powerful layer of protection, and they should never be shared with anyone. Baker Boyer will never call, text, or email you to ask for your two-factor authentication code. These codes are meant for you and only you. Even if someone claims to be from the bank, do not give out your code. If you ever receive a request that feels suspicious, hang up, delete the message, and contact Baker Boyer directly using a trusted phone number or through the Conversations feature in Online Banking.

You can now place stop payments directly through our online banking platform by using the desktop or mobile app version. This convenient self-service option not only saves you time, but it also saves you money by waiving the standard $35.00 fee.
Use this feature if your check has been:
  • Lost
  • Stolen
  • Canceled due to a change in plans or payments

1. Log into Online Banking

2. From the main dashboard, select the account you wish to place a Stop Payment on.

3. From the right, select Stop Payments.

4. Choose what you would like to stop.

    • Single Check
    • A range of Checks

5. If stopping a single check, input the following:

    • Check #
    • Date Issued*
    • Payee / Person or Business that the check is issued to*
    • Check Amount
    • Reason (Lost, Stolen, Destroyed, Stopped/Canceled Service, etc)
    • Input Submit.

6. If stopping a range of checks (recommended if checkbook is lost), input the following:

    • input the Start Check # and End Check #*.
    • Input the reason (Lost, Stolen, Destroyed, Stopped/Canceled Service, etc)

Stop Payment Disclaimer

Our free Travel Alerts service is available to all clients (individuals and businesses) through both our mobile app and desktop online banking. By submitting a quick travel alert before your trip, you help ensure your debit cards continue to work seamlessly while you're away.
 
Without a travel alert, your card activity in unfamiliar locations could be flagged as suspicious, leading to inconvenient blocks or declined purchases.
Here's how to set up a travel alert:

1. Log into Online Banking

2. From the Main Dashboard, scroll down to the Card Management section.

3. Click on the Airplane Icon.

4. Select Add travel notice.

5. Input the following information:

  • Destinations (if travelling to multiple states or countries, please list all)
  • Input the dates of your trip
  • Check the box beside all cards that will be used throughout your trip.

6. Click Save!

To help safeguard your account, users can set up User Security Alerts to be notified any time there’s a change to your login credentials or personal information. This free, built-in security feature is designed to keep you in control and immediately aware of any updates in real time.

You can set alerts for when:

  • A login is detected from a new device or location.
  • Your email address is changed.
  • Your password is updated.
  • Your mobile phone number is modified.
  • Your username is changed.

Here is how to set up user security alerts:

1. Log into Online Banking

2. Select your name at the lower left.

3. Choose Personal Settings

4. Click on Alerts

5. All the available User Security alerts will appear. Click on each one to specify if you would like it to be activated and how you would like to receive the alerts (Email, SMS, or in-app message).
