Steve Wilkinson joined Baker Boyer in October 2026 as Wenatchee Market Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in commercial banking, economic development, and community leadership.

Steve began his career in commercial banking, spending 12 years as a commercial lender, including leading a team in Bellingham, Washington, serving businesses across Whatcom, Island, and Skagit counties. He later transitioned into economic development, serving as Executive Director of a regional organization in South Central Kansas, where he supported economic growth and opportunities across 42 counties and 109 communities, including Wichita.

Upon returning to Wenatchee, Steve served as Executive Director of a local housing trust before becoming Executive Director of the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce. In this role, he helped revitalize the Chamber, championing the interests of more than 600 local businesses and fostering partnerships that supported the region's economic vitality.

Steve brings a relationship-focused approach to serving clients, grounded in the belief that every individual deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and understood. He takes the time to listen, understand each client's unique circumstances and goals, and provide thoughtful guidance that builds confidence in their financial decisions. Drawing on his experience in banking and community leadership, Steve works collaboratively with Baker Boyer's team of specialists to connect clients with personalized solutions, trusted expertise, and the resources they need to succeed.

Beyond his professional work, Steve is passionate about strengthening the communities he serves. He has contributed his time and leadership to numerous organizations, including the North Central Washington Economic Development District, Wenatchee Valley College Foundation, Junior Achievement USA, and the Technology Alliance for NW. He has also been involved with the Columbia River Homeless Task Force and Washington Technology Industry Association. Through his continued community involvement, Steve enjoys building meaningful partnerships and supporting initiatives that enhance quality of life throughout the Wenatchee Valley.
