Our Approach

Adam Kirtley

Trust Advisor
Walla Walla
  • B.A., Wasbash College
  • MDiv, Emory University

Before joining Baker Boyer in 2025, Adam served the Walla Walla community in a variety of impactful roles. He worked for nearly two decades as an Interfaith Chaplain at Whitman College and led Blue Mountain Heart to Heart as its Executive Director. These experiences reflect his long-standing commitment to service, connection, and personal growth—qualities that now guide his work in financial advising.

Adam makes a relationship-oriented approach rooted in empathy and understanding. He believes that effective financial advising requires getting to know each client’s broader story—who they are, what they value, and where they hope to go. This deeper insight allows him to better support their financial goals with personalized guidance and care. He views each client relationship as a privilege and works to build trust through authentic connection.

Adam currently serves as President of the Board for the Blue Mountain Grief and Loss Foundation and Chair of the Broughton Scholarship for the Arts with the Blue Mountain Community Foundation. He has also been active with the Walla Walla Immigrant Rights Coalition and was the former Chair of the Outdoor Recreation Study with the Walla Walla Community Council.
