Baker Boyer employees promoted to Assistant Vice President


Twelve Baker Boyer employees have been appointed to assistant vice president in promotions effective Jan. 1, 2024. These promotions are an important recognition of expertise and commitment to our clients.

Alanna Jacob headshot
Alanna Jacob
Alanna came to Baker Boyer’s IT Solutions Department in 2021 as Senior Program Manager with more than a decade of project and program management experience. She collaborates internally with Advisors, operations specialists, and the executive team and has been instrumental in ensuring the Bank’s software, tools and organizational processes align to enhance service for customers.

Asha Breitenfeldt
A Trust Advisor who helps clients with investment, financial and estate planning needs, Asha started with the Tri-Cities office in 2004 and joined the Asset Management Division in 2006. She works with clients beyond their traditional financial situations to include areas such as technology, healthcare and anything else that helps. In 2023 she earned the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation.

One of Baker Boyer’s most experienced Business Analysts, Steve has 24 years of business lending experience. During his 11 years at the Bank he has worked in various positions in the Business Banking Division as an integral part of the team.

Ashley joined Baker Boyer in 2019 as a Family Advisor. Seven months later she transitioned to her current position as Business Advisor, where she educates clients on business strategies and cash flow management and is known for her strategic mindset and collaborative spirit.

Ivan Castaneda
Ivan Castaneda
After starting with Baker Boyer’s Contact Center in 2012, Ivan transitioned to Business Banking. He worked as a Business Associate and Business Analyst before becoming a Business Advisor in 2021. His attention to detail and problem solving are hallmarks of his work.

Luis began with the Baker Boyer team in 2014 at the Milton-Freewater location. Four years later, he moved to the Consumer Loan Center, where he quickly distinguished himself as a stellar Loan Officer before a promotion to his current position as Consumer Lending Manager. He is an active member of the Milton-Freewater Rotary and MiltonFreewater Foundation and serves on the board for the Providence St. Mary Community Mission Board.

Since starting with Baker Boyer as a Personal Banker in 2015, Seana transitioned to Retail Banking and Business Banking. She served as a Business Analyst five years and then used her expertise in the Consumer Loan Center in the challenging times of the mortgage application surge in 2020. She was promoted in 2023 to Consumer & Real Estate Underwriting Manager and heads the processing and underwriting team for Consumer Lending. She also serves on the Bank’s Credit Policy Committee.

Tori Anguiano
Hired in 2019 as an administrative assistant after a career in education, Tori has moved through several positions on her way to Financial Planner. In 2023 she earned her Certified Financial Planner designation, a more than two-year demonstration of her commitment to expertise and ethics.

Stuart Gillin
As a Family/Investment Advisor, Stuart works with clients to align their financial lives with their goals and aspirations. He joined Baker Boyer in 2018 and worked in various roles in Community Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Planning and Family Advising. In 2020 he earned his Certified Financial Planner designation. He is also active on the bank’s #Redef Committee and with Walla Walla Public Schools and Young Life.

More than two decades since starting at Baker Boyer in 2002, Alexis has held numerous positions leading to her current role as Senior Cash Management Specialist. She works closely with businesses to provide expertise and services to help clients maximize their cash flow and bank account security. She volunteers at Christian Aid Center and Blue Mountain Humane Society.

In her current role as Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator, Victoria works with internal and external clients and is known for her collaboration with teammates and community partners. She started at Baker Boyer in 2017 as Events Coordinator.

Caleb practiced law before joining Baker Boyer in 2019 as a Trust Advisor. His legal background provides a foundation to handle of the department’s most complex trust accounts. He also serves as mentor to newer team members and volunteers outside of work at Christian Aid Center.
