Rob Blethen and Olivia Loomis Achieve National Certifications


Rob Blethen, VP and Family Advisor Manager, has been awarded the Certified Financial Planner™ designation by the CFP Board. In addition, Olivia Loomis earned the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credential from The American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).

“National certifications validate an advisor’s experience and depth of education in the financial services industry, and gives additional confidence to our clients of the expertise of our amazing staff,” said Mark Kajita, President and CEO. “Rob and Olivia have accomplished important professional milestones with these certifications. Rob Blethen has more than two decades of experience in business and non-profit leadership, journalism, and running a division of his family business. He uses this experience to help families and businesses build their legacies. Rob manages the Family Advisor Team, who are the coordinators of Baker Boyer services and planning for businesses and high net worth clients.

The CFP® Certification Examination is designed to assess an advisor’s ability to integrate and apply a broad base of financial planning knowledge in the context of real-life financial planning situations. Certified Financial Planner™ professionals are rigorously trained in 72 areas of financial expertise and must accrue thousands of hours of experience prior to earning their certification.

Olivia Loomis has been part of the Baker Boyer Trust and Investment team for nearly four years, specializing in Employee Benefit accounts. She provides support to business owners on matters of retirement plan administration and acts as the first point of contact for plan participants. In addition to her Employee Benefit responsibilities, Olivia supports Trust clients with IRAs and asset management accounts.

The Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credential has a 25-year track record of distinguishing professionals in the field of retirement administration. Designed to meet the needs of retirement plan administrators and consultants alike, the QKA Credential provides a comprehensive foundation for plan administration, from basic concepts to 401(k) plan compliance.
