In late October, we plan that Baker Boyer employees will officially relocate to the new Yakima Financial Center, moving just up the hill from their current home on Triple Crown Way to the newly constructed building on Seattle Slew Run.
The $10.5 million building is approximately 19,000 square feet. It houses offices for Baker Boyer advisors and staff, client meeting and conference rooms, and new backup & recovery space for our IT group. It also feature a large community conference space for up to 100 people designed to serve the community, as well as Baker Boyer functions. The building will initially not be open to the general public, but it will be open by appointment to clients for safe deposit access and essential, socially-distanced in-person meetings. As with all Baker Boyer locations, the new Yakima facility will only reopen when it has been determined safe to do so for clients and employees, informed by federal, state, and county health guidelines.
