Baker Boyer makes a point to promote from within and capitalize on the significant developed experience and skills of our long-term employees. We have the privilege to announce several new promotions that will both maintain the high level of service and professionalism Baker Boyer provides to clients as well as augment opportunities for employee growth internally.
“I am extremely pleased to say that well-established leaders and career advancement continue to develop at Baker Boyer during this extraordinary time”, commented Michelle Thacker, VP, Director of Retail and Digital Banking. “We continue to provide opportunities for growth in new directions”.
Three recent promotions bring a wealth of experience to local branches:
Karina Martinez, with Baker Boyer since 2016, was promoted to Branch Manager in Milton-Freewater in late 2019. Her banking experience, involvement in the community, and readiness to lead a team makes Karina a great fit in her new role.
Stephanie Angotti, a 14-year veteran of Baker Boyer, will become the new Main Office Branch Manager after managing the Plaza Branch since 2013.
Melody Baston has been promoted to Branch Manager of our Plaza Branch. Melody has been with Baker Boyer since 2011.
Two new positions created address key needs:
Shona Deckert has been promoted to the new role of Retail Leadership Development Coordinator. Shona’s new role will entail partnering with Community Banking and Digital Banking to manage the development, implementation, and administration of management and development programs to support organizational needs. Shona started with Baker Boyer in December 2000.
Camdia Byma has been promoted to the new role of Main Office Operations Manager and Bank Security Officer. Camdia has been with Baker Boyer since 2013. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing and overseeing all areas of the Main Office branch operations and will be involved in projects that ensure audit readiness for all the branches.
