As your trusted financial advisors, your financial security is important to us. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has released information on a recent telephone scam that claims they are holding money for you. Although it may sound official, this is false and not the OCC. The fraudulent caller may have some of your personal information and is hoping to obtain your bank information for fraudulent use.
Be extra careful when answering calls or messages. Never give your account information. Don’t even confirm any personal information they may already have. This is a busy season for fraudsters and there are many fraudulent calls occurring.
