Baker Boyer reports first known COVID-19 case

On Friday, July 24, Baker Boyer was notified by an employee that they tested positive for COVID-19. The employee had already been off work due to illness reported earlier in the week. The Bank quickly determined that the potential exposure to clients and other employees was minimal, thanks in part to appropriate pandemic controls and protocols already in place. As required by CDC, OSHA, and State Health Guidelines, all potentially exposed clients and employees have been notified. An outside professional cleaning service has fully cleaned and sanitized the affected location. As a result, all Bank locations were able to open for normal business hours on Monday, July 27.

Because of the pandemic response plan that Baker Boyer first implemented in March and has refined based on federal and state guidelines, the Bank’s lobbies will continue to remain closed to the public and by appointment only. Bank leadership continues to do its part in protecting the health and safety of all clients and employees in the communities we serve.
