John grew up on a family farm in Athena, Oregon and after college joined the Farm Credit System. In 1998 he joined Baker Boyer and brought with him his expertise in managing farm properties and agricultural loans.

Utilizing his deep financial background, John works with clients optimizing their investments, financial management, and trust and estate administration. He also leads the Baker Boyer Trust Advisors, answers their questions, and sharing the broad services that are offered from the bank. His credibility in the agriculture industry allows him to serve land owners with a specialized approach.

John served on the Milton-Freewater, Oregon School Board for 17 years and is a past President of the Washington Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He is also a member of the Global Exchange Club.
