Walla Walla – Baker Boyer is pleased to announce the promotions of; Theresa Pettinger to Vice President, Jim Tackett to Vice President, Brian Bruggeman to Assistant Vice President and Financial Planning Manager, and TJ Middlesworth to Chief Investment Officer (CIO). The promotions were approved by the Baker Boyer Board of Directors at their December Board Meeting and take effect on January 1, 2016.
Pettinger’s career with Baker Boyer began on June 26, 2014, where she started as a Business Banking Credit Executive. She was then promoted to Credit Executive Manager and Assistant Vice President earlier in 2015. Theresa is active in the community as a board member for both the United Way of Walla Walla and the Walla Walla United Soccer Club.
Tackett’s career with Baker Boyer began on November 17, 2003, and has held several titles at the bank including; Teller, Personal Banker, Personal Banking Assistant, Personal Banking Officer, College Place Branch Manager and Milton-Freewater Branch Manager. Most recently Jim held the title of AVP & Consumer Loan Officer. Jim is active in the Walla Walla community through the Exchange Club of Walla Walla, several committees for the Walla Walla Association of Realtors and volunteering with several organizations.
Bruggeman began his career at Baker Boyer on December 1, 2009, as a Lead Relationship Officer and Trust Officer. Shortly thereafter he moved to Baker Boyer Investor Services as an Investor Services Financial Advisor and now an Investment Professional for D.S. Baker Investments. Bruggeman has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) designation and the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) certification. He will be making the transition from Investment Professional to his new role as Baker Boyer’s Financial Planning Manager. His duties in that role will include working with D.S. Baker Advisors to provide our clients with comprehensive financial planning services that assist them along their wealth journey.
Middlesworth began his career at Baker Boyer on March 14, 2011 as the Investor Services Program Manager. In February 2014, TJ was promoted to Vice President/Senior Portfolio Manager from his previous position of Portfolio Manager. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.
